Keto Chaffle Churro Recipe (Sweet Chaffle)
We have a sweet Keto Chaffle Churro Recipe for you! This one is extra special because if you really like churros, you will love this one!
The key to a good churro recipe is the dough used and the sweetener for the sugar crust! We used Swerve Brown sweetener and cinnamon but there are a few other Keto sweetener options you can use.

Swerve Brown Sweetener
All are good!
I also used a Dash mini waffle iron to make these churros! This is the cutest kitchen gadget ever! This Dash Mini Waffle maker can be found at Target (if your store isn’t sold out). I had to purchase my Dash mini waffle iron off of Amazon.com. It comes in teal, red, black, pink, and white colors! It’s really too cute!

Here’s a quick video that shows you how we made these Keto Chaffle Churros!
Keto Chaffle Churro Recipe Instructions
- Preheat the mini waffle iron.
- In a small bowl, whip the egg with a fork.
- Add the shredded cheese to the egg mixture.
- Place half of the egg mixture in the mini waffle maker and cook it until it’s golden brown (about 4 minutes)
- While the mini Chaffle is cooking, add the Swerve Brown Sweetener and cinnamon in a separate small bowl.
- Once the Chaffle is done, cut it into slices (as shown in the video) while it’s still hot and add it to the cinnamon mixture. It soaks up more of the mixture when it’s still hot!
- Serve warm and enjoy!

Don’t have a mini waffle maker so used our round Belgian one. Made a 1/4 of that with the 1-egg recipe. Cooked it, rolled it in the cinnamon/”sugar” mixture and it was pretty tasty. It spread more than it should have – maybe use 1/2 the maker next time. The little one enjoyed the couple of bites she got. Definitely need to do some playing to see how best to utilize a full-size maker as I’m not ready to buy mini-makers right now. 🙂
OMG these are soooo good!!
It was good but a bit eggy taste
I am amazed at how good it taste.
Made these yesterday and mixed all the ingredients and cooked, tastey. Then re-read the instructions…cook the egg and cheese mixture then cut in strips and coat in the sugar and cinnamon. So, I just made them the correct way, and the sugar and cinnamon wouldn’t stick to the sticks. I sprayed them with butter flavor spray but still didn’t stick. Again, tasted ok but not what I was expecting and the way the pictures looked.
I just made this. Eating it right now. It is amazing. Thanks for this recipe. I used a regular size waffle maker. I have a tip.
Instead of grating the cheese, I put the 2 oz chunk cut into 4 in my Nutribullet, pulsed for 4-5 seconds. It was enough to make the cheese into a flour like consistency. Then I added everything else and mixed by hand. So easy. So good.
