Tips for Making a Beautiful and Keto Friendly Easy Charcuterie Board Design:

You want to make sure to slice and prep all of the meats and vegetables before you start placing your design on the charcuterie board.  You will also need to know how long the board will sit out on display too.  You might need to set it in an ice bath on display.

Start by placing down the centerpiece on your charcuterie board.   This could be a loaf of bread, keto crackers, or even a circle of Brie!  Our favorite is the Keto Cornucopia Bread display because you can make it the day before.

Next, you want to think about the items that need to be displayed in small containers.  Think of the height of these containers too.  Tall ones and short ones give a nice dimension and display perfectly when you add a variety.

Lastly, I like to think about a flow to the board.  You want to think about where your eyes will follow.  In the first charcuterie board you can easily see this flow of ingredients.  This adds a level of appeal to the board especially when you place contrasting food colors next to one another.  The second board we did has more finger foods on sticks.  You choose with one you prefer for your gathering.

Choose whether or not to lay the ingredients flat or stand them up for more height too.  If you really want to pack the board, add items stacked on top of one another or upright.  In the first board you can see where we stood up the cheese slices.  We did this to help keep the other ingredients from rolling off the board too.

The last final though is the dips and spreads.  We plan to have cream cheese spread and our famous Easy Cilantro Jalapeno Dip Recipe (found on our sister blog) served on the side in individual mini container cups.  This makes for easy grab and go without any fuss of serving your dips.

The only ingredient that has a small amount of sugar are the Peruvian Pepper Pears.  They are marinated in a small amount of sugar.  They do taste a little sweet.  If you are strict keto, I would omit those and choose a different pepper.  Mini bell pepper slices would be perfect and add the pop of color!

Optional: Rosemary sprigs for garnish or stuffed in the bread!  Smells wonderful and adds color to the display!
