Keto Triple Berry Popsicles Recipe
We just made some triple berry popsicles that are sugar-free and totally keto-friendly!
These homemade berry popsicles are super easy to make once you have the popsicle mold in hand.
Kids really enjoy the whole fruit popsicles and they don’t even realize they are sugar-free. That’s the best part! I try really hard to lower the sugar consumed by the young ones after learning the effects excess sugar has on our body.
This healthy popsicle recipe is loved by many adults too! Popsicles are not just for kids! HA!
Grab that popsicle mold and make your own easy homemade popsicles in a jiffy!
What type of berries can I use in this recipe when I am doing the keto diet?
Keto is not necessarily food. Keto is a state in which your body gets into ketosis. There are foods that can kick you out of ketosis quickly but this really depends on your metabolism and exercise routines. If you are just starting out on the keto diet, I highly suggest you stick with berries such as raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. These berries have the lowest natural sugar and will likely help you to stay in ketosis.
What type of keto-friendly sweetener should I use in this recipe?
In this recipe, I would suggest using an allulose sweetener. Allulose closely mimics real sugar but isn’t as sweet when compared to real sugar. It does caramelize just like real sugar though. Allulose is my favorite sweetener to use in ice cream recipes because it doesn’t get hard as a rock when it freezes! If you use any other kind of keto-friendly sweetener, you will notice the keto popsicles will be very hard to bite into.
