Spinach Strawberry Salad Recipe Ingredients
- 3 ounces fresh spinach
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 red onion
Dressing Ingredients
- 1 cup sunflower seeds, soaked for 3 hours
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Spinach Strawberry Salad Recipe Instructions
- For the dressing, place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until a smooth sauce.
- Chop strawberries in bite-size pieces and the onion in thin slices. To reduce the intensity of raw red onion, soak the slices in cool or warm water for 10 minutes before using.
- Place all the ingredients in a serving bowl.
- Drizzle the top with sunflower seed dressing.
- Top with fresh cracked pepper and sprinkle of salt.
