Low Carb Baked Feta Pasta Viral TiKTok Recipe

If you’ve spent any time on TikTok, you have probably seen the viral Baked Feta Pasta.  The only problem for us low carb and keto people is that the regular pasta has way too many carbs.  I decided to may it low carb and keto friendly!!

We grabbed the Healthy Noodles from Costco.  They come in a box of six pouches that have two servings each.  They are in the refrigerated section near the cheeses.  I am in love with these noodles!

We just made a new dinner idea with these noodles!  We made a Low Carb Alfredo Chicken Pasta dish!  Omg!  It was so good!  Even more filling because the center was made with cream cheese and parmesan cheese.  SO GOOD!

These Healthy Noodles do contain soy in the ingredients so if you are sensitive or want to stay away from soy, you can make a homemade pasta noodle recipe too!

Try our 2 Ingredient Keto Pasta recipe!  It’s totally worth the prep and it doesn’t contain eggs or soy!  My favorite way to eat this Keto Pasta is topped with Basil Pesto, Grilled Chicken and a little bit of parmesan cheese.

Keto Pasta Noodle Alternatives

  1.  Healthy Noodle (this is what we used in the recipe)
  2. Spaghetti Squash
  3. Zucchini noodles (zoodles)
  4. Miracle Noodles (mushroom based noodles which taste very different from the Healthy noodles we used.
  5. Homemade Keto Noodles made with Lupin Flour
  6. We’ve also made these egg noodles in our Keto Lasagna Noodles recipe.  These are light and fluffy!  They could be cut into noodle strips too.

My two favorite options are Healthy Noodles first and Spaghetti Squash second if you asked me to rank them.  Those would be my top 2 choices!

Spaghetti squash is really simple and fast to make if you bake it in the Instant Pot Pressure cooker.

I slice the squash in half, remove the seeds and add a cup of water or broth.  Then set the timer for 10 minutes high pressure to bake it to perfection.  This is for a medium size spaghetti squash.  Then I remove the squash using a fork and use it just as I would any other pasta.

Healthy Noodles can be found at Costco or possible an Oriental food store near you.   I would call ahead to be sure.  I imagine these will get really popular because they really do taste like a real noodle without the odor or the dry frying requirement the other keto noodles require before you use them.  Mark my words!  They will be popular soon!  They are very different in taste, texture, and lightness.

They contain 6 carbs per serving so they are full of fiber!  Making them zero net carbs.  I never have any issues when I consume fiber like this.

Cheese Alternatives

There are some people that really don’t like the strong taste of Feta cheese and these people want alternatives.  If that’s you, this list will be helpful.

  1.  Half Cream Cheese and half Feta Cheese
  2. Half Parmesan Cheese and half Feta Cheese
  3. Half Cream Cheese and any other flavored cheese of your choice.
  4. Diary Free Cheese of your choice.

The Parmesan Cheese and Feta combine is delightful!  I prefer the full feta cheese option as my first choice though.

Here are a few photos we took while making this dish!  You will find the printable recipe card at the very bottom of this post.

The healthy noodle pasta is zero net carbs because the carbs come from fiber.  The nutrition will depend on what noodle option you do with and you will add more protein if you add chicken to this recipe.
