Creamy Ground Beef Cauliflower Hash Recipe
This creamy ground beef cauliflower hash recipe is my healthy version of Hamburger Helper and it’s everything you were looking for an easy weeknight dinner. Simple to find ingredients and one pot dinner, this easy keto dinner idea is something everyone in the family will love!
Creamy Ground Beef Cauliflower Hash Recipe Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups frozen cauliflower
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 14 ounces 85-93% lean ground beef, raw
- 2 cups mild or medium cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons water or beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon pink salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Creamy Ground Beef Cauliflower Hash Recipe Instructions
- Defrost the cauliflower first.
- Brown the ground beef with onions over medium-high heat for about 5 to 7 min or until the onions are translucent and the beef is browned.
- Add the green peppers and continue cooking for 5 to 7 more minutes or until cooked through.
- Drain the grease.
- Drain the cauliflower and chop it into bite-size pieces.
- Add the ground beef, cauliflower, beef broth or water, and cream cheese into the pan along with the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, pink salt, and pepper.
- Mix until fully combined and continue cooking until cauliflower is tender to touch and the cream cheese has fully melted into the beef mixture.
- Add cheddar cheese on top of the cauliflower and beef mixture.
- Turn heat to low and cover the pan with a lid so the cheese fully melts before serving.
