Oven Baked Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe Ingredients
- 2 quarts cold water
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 20 (about 4 pounds) chicken wing pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Oven Baked Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe Instructions
- Using a large pot with about 2 tablespoons salt and water over medium heat.
- Add the thyme, oregano, rosemary, garlic, and cumin.
- Add the chicken wings once the water has been brought to a boil.
- Parboil the chicken wings for 7 to 8 minutes.
- Remove the chicken wings and pat dry.
- Remove as much of the moisture as possible to get the crispy chicken wings you want.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the garlic salt and baking powder. Toss the partially cooked and dried chicken wings in the baking powder mixture. Toss until they are fully coated.
- Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Flip them and then cook for the remaining 10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, add the melted butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, and pepper. Toss the cooked wings in the parmesan mixture and serve warm.
- Sprinkle with more parsley before serving.
