Keto Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe
We just made a fantastic Keto Chocolate Chip Banana Bread recipe to die for! OMG! It’s so good! Don’t worry, we didn’t actually use real bananas because they are loaded with carbs. We just banana extract.
You can find banana extract just about anywhere. I am in love with this banana extract personally though. I’m not sure why the difference but it doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste like some do. It’s fantastic.
The other ingredient that is worthy of talking about is the Mapleine extract. If you need just one extract in your pantry, this would be the one. It’s maple-flavored and is wonderful in many keto dessert recipes. And, a little bit goes a long way too so it’s not that expensive when you realize how little you use. We use this in many recipes including our most recent Easy Keto Syrup recipe. There is no other extract as potent or as tasty as this one. Promise!
Mapleine extract can also be used to make your own keto brown sugar. I didn’t have keto brown sugar for this recipe because I usually make my own with this extract. One of my old non-keto recipes for bread calls for brown sugar and this is the way I make brown sugar for my keto recipes like this.
You might notice that we use very little allulose keto sweetener in this recipe. The sugar-free chocolate chips we used are Lily’s chocolate chips and they are sweetened with stevia so we didn’t feel the need to add any more sweetener than that. If you like your keto desserts really sweet, you can add more chocolate chips or bump the sweetener up to 1/2 cup with no issues at all.
You can also make your own sugar free chocolate chips with this recipe too.
Now, if you really like keto banana recipes, you should also try our Keto Banana Pancakes Recipe! It’s delightful!
