I just made the BEST Banana Nut Chaffle Recipe I’ve ever tried!  Omgosh, It’s amazing!

Here’s the secret ingredient though…  You cannot do bananas on the keto diet.  They are really high carb so you want to avoid them as much as possible.  If you love the taste of banana, you absolutely must get some banana extract!  It’s a game-changer!  I use the Lorann Banana Extract here.  There are tons of really good banana extract brands you can get.  Here are a few we would recommend:

Next, you absolutely need a mini waffle maker!  Dash makes the best!  Now, you don’t need the mini but you do need a waffle maker.  If you have a full-size waffle maker, you can absolutely use that but just make sure you double the recipe!

Banana Nut Chaffle Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese. softened and room temp
  • 1 tbsp sugar free cheesecake pudding (optional ingredient because it is dirty keto)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp Monkfruit confectioners powder sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp banana extract or sugar free banana flavoring

Optional Toppings:

Banana Nut Chaffle Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat the mini waffle iron.
  2. In a small bowl, whip the egg.
  3. Whisk the remaining ingredients to the egg mixture and mix it until it’s well incorporated.
  4. Add half the batter to the waffle maker and cook it for a minimum of 4 minutes until it’s golden brown.
  5. Remove the finished chaffle and add the other half of the batter to cook the other chaffle.
  6. Top with your optional ingredients and serve warm!
  7. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the mini waffle maker

    I’m making this now. I am using 1 extra tbls of cream cheese and 1 tablespoon of hwc to make a pudding substitute. I whipped it a little to mimic your pudding.
    I notice your pic had 3 Chaffles right? This recipe makes two though correct? Was that just for picture quality?
    It looks amazing and I’ll know in about 10 min how it tastes lol

    1. Use the powder. Not the fully prepared recipe.
