Keto Waffle Pops Recipe (Heart Shaped)
Look at these perfect little Keto Waffle Pops! These would make the perfect Valentine’s Day treat that’s sugar free and low carb!
Dash came out with a mini waffle maker that is in the shape of a heart. I love it! It makes thick mini heart waffles that are perfect for making waffle pops. There are other heart shaped waffle makers that will also work but for this recipe I used the Dash mini heart waffle maker. My recipe makes two heart shaped waffles.

Keto Waffle Pops Recipe Instructions
To make the keto waffles:
In a small bowl mixed together the almond flour, sour cream, baking powder, egg and liquid stevia sweetener. Add a few drops of your favorite flavorings, if using.
Set aside.
Heat the mini Dash waffle iron.
When the waffle iron is hot, place 2 to 3 teaspoons of batter into the heart shaped waffle iron center only. Only fill the amount inside the heart to make the perfect heart shape every time without any batter spilling over. (see photo below)
Cook the waffle for about 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Place on a wire rack to completely cool.
Allow all the waffles to cool before decorating them.
To decorate the keto waffle pops:
Once the waffles have completely cooled you can start decorating them.
Lay out some parchment paper because this paper is perfect for allowing the melted chocolate to cool on the waffles without it sticking to anything.
In a small microwave safe bowl add about 1/4 cup or more (depending on how many keto waffle pops you need to decorate) of Lily’s sugar free chocolate chips along with 1/2 teaspoon of coconut or olive oil. The oil will help it heat and melt evenly and make the chocolate smooth and creamy.
Place the microwave safe bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Stir between each set of 30 seconds until the chips have melted.
If you are melting sugar free white chocolate chips you will add the food coloring right after the chocolate has been melted. Follow the instructions on the food coloring label to determine the color you want. I used a few drops of pink food coloring in this recipe.
You can dip the waffles into the melted chocolate or drizzling the melted chocolate over the heart shaped waffles.
Add sugar free sprinkles if using. You can make your own Keto sprinkles that are sugar free using this recipe.
Place a paper straw or popsicle stick into each waffle and use a small amount of melted chocolate drizzle at the end off the stick and the end of the waffle to glue it together. Don’t pick them up until they have completely cooled and the melted chocolate has hardened.
