Easy Keto Spritz Cookies Recipe

We just made a fantastic and Easy Keto Spritz Cookies Recipe!!  These cookies are almond flour based with butter so they practically melt in your mouth!

The one tool you need for this recipe is a cookie press.  You can roll them out and make them just like our peanut butter cookie recipe by pressing a fork in the center to form the cookie shape but to be honest, I really like using the cookie press.  It makes the perfect size and shape cookie.  This recipe is formulated perfectly too.  The dough is textured just right to be able to slide through the cookie press but more importantly is tastes amazing!

We added butter to give the cookie a rich, buttery flavor.  It’s so good.

I ordered my cookie press off of Amazon.  I haven’t seen them locally so I’m not even sure where to refer you.  I would just order it online to save you the trouble.

There are tons of cookie templates in the cookie press kit I ordered too.  You can make spring time cookies, Valentine’s day cookies, or any holiday really.  So many templates for all occasions.

Easy Keto Spritz Cookies Instructions

Mix butter and sugar with a mixer until fully combined.

Add the salt, egg, and vanilla extra and mix it again.

Add the flour and  mix it until it turns into a soft dough.

Pipe the dough into a cookie press spritzer tube and press cookies out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.

Allow them cool slightly before removing them from the cookie sheet because they will be soft.

Here are a few Keto Spritz cookie flavor options too:

Lemon butter cookies:

Same recipe except replace the vanilla and add lemon zests and a tbs of 1 tsp fresh lemon juice.

Orange butter cookies:

Orange butter cookies: same except replace the vanilla with orange zest and 1/4 tsp orange extract.

Chocolate coated cookies:

Allow the cookies to cool completely and then dip the bottoms in melted chocolate.

We use Lily’s Sugar Free chocolate chips.  Place them on a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper to cool and harden.

Very tasty…Trial and error using the cookie press tho. Dough was very sticky. Worked better after chilling. Also found it was easier to use the cookie sheet without parchment paper. This was my first time making Spritz Cookies and a press.

This dough was way too sticky to put through a cookie press. I dropped them with a cookie scoop on the baking sheet and flattened them with a fork. I didn’t have time to chill the dough to try.
In the oven baking now. 🤞🏼
