Easy Corndog Chaffle Recipe (made with a corndog waffle press)

This Easy Corndog Chaffle Recipe is made with a corndog press grill!  I never even knew these types of grills existed!  I’m ready to try and come up with a Twinkie Chaffle recipe too!  I can see stuffed cheese chaffles in this press also!  The ideas I have been off the charts!  My family is loving all of the chaffle recipes too.  Did you see the Sloppy Joe Chaffle recipe we just posted?  We used this cornbread recipe but we added a bit of jalapeno to make it a jalapeno cornbread chaffle with a tiny kick to it!

Easy Corndog Chaffle Recipe Ingredients

Optional:  For extra added spice be sure to add diced jalapenos to this recipe!

Easy Corndog Chaffle Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat corndog waffle maker.
  2. In a small bowl, whip the eggs.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the hotdogs
  4. Spray the corndog waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Fill the corndog waffle maker with the batter halfway filled.  (if you want a crispy corndog, add a small amount of cheese 3o seconds before adding the batter)
  6. Place a stick in the hot dog.
  7. Place the hot dog in the batter and slightly press down.
  8. Spread a small amount of batter on top of the hot dog, just enough to fill it.

  10. Cook the corndog chaffles for about 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. When done, they will easily remove from the corndog waffle maker with a pair of tongs.
  12. Serve with mustard, mayo, or sugar-free ketchup!

  1. It looks like you have cut full size hot dogs in half. Is that true? I don’t see that in the instructions. Also, it would be very helpful if you gave us a link to the specialized maker for these little gems. Thanks so much!
