Keto Taco Skillet Recipe
This Keto Taco Skillet Recipe will be one of the easiest keto dinner recipes you make! Top this with some shredded lettuce and you have a complete meal made in about 15 to 20 minutes (as long as your hamburger meat is already defrosted!)
There’s one tip to this recipe that will add a depth of flavor to this recipe that you don’t want to skip! It may seem a bit odd to add cocoa powder to a hamburger recipe but let me tell you… grandma knew what she was doing when she added this to these types of recipes! Just make sure it’s unsweetened cocoa. You won’t taste the cocoa but you will taste a level of flavor that you will thoroughly enjoy! Promise!

Keto Taco Skillet Recipe Ingredients
2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
1 small onion (or 1/2 cup onion)
1 batch of this Homemade Taco seasoning recipe (or 2 taco seasoning packets)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 can Rotel Green Chilies and Tomatoes
6 oz can of tomato paste
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Keto Taco Skillet Recipe Instructions
Dice onion into small pieces and saute in butter in a 12-inch hot cast iron skillet.
Add 2 lbs of 80/20 ground beef.
After the beef has browned, add one can of Rotel Green chilies and tomatoes, taco seasonings, cocoa and tomato paste.
Stir completely until all the ingredients are combined.
Allow the seasonings to simmer for about 5 minutes.
Serve warm with any of the optional toppings.
