Fried Pickle Chaffle Sticks Recipe
Pickle loves unite…these Fried Pickle Chaffle Sticks are going to be your new favorite snack! I love pickles and these are SO GOOD!
I’ve made Keto fried pickle sticks two different ways. There is a super simple way and then there’s this recipe when makes thicker pickle sticks.
The easiest way to make a super crunchy pickle stick is to just use cheese and pickle slices. Yup, only 2 ingredients! This is really good news for anyone out there who cannot consume eggs.
To make the 2 ingredient pickle sticks. all you do is layer the mini waffle maker with shredded cheese just enough for it to cover the bottom lightly. Then add a layer of sliced pickles that you patted dry. Then cover the pickle chips with another layer of shredded cheese. Close the lid and don’t open it again for a minimum of 4 minutes. The longer you let it cook, the crispier it gets. I like mine to cook for about 5 to 6 minutes for extra crispy and golden brown. The cooking time will also depend on out dry the pickles are too. Be sure to pat them dry and allow them to sit on a paper towel until you are ready to use them.
The waffle iron fried pickles are a great appetizer to share with friends served with homemade ranch dressing or blue cheese.
If you have leftovers, store them in airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer basket or bake in the oven to crisp them back up.
If you want to spruce up these pickle chaffle sticks, you can add a little garlic powder and onion powders. These seasonings really take this recipe up a notch.
Here we have another fried pickle chaffle sticks and these are not thin like the 2 ingredient instructions above. Both are fantastic techniques and ingredients. Just use whichever recipe that works best for you.
