Her husband has a dairy and cheese allergy so she knows all too well the struggle!
This recipe is very similar to our Keto 90 second bread recipe except it’s made with no eggs!! This 90 second bread recipe is perfect for anyone with a nut allergy because you can use sunflower flour in place of the almond flour in that recipe.
The hero in this egg free recipe is a product made from plants called Just Egg. It’s an egg replacement and it works in keto chaffle recipes like this! The main ingredient is Mung Bean Protein Isolate and water. It tastes just like eggs but without the egg.
The second her in this dairy free recipe is the veganaise!
This is exciting news for allergy sufferers! If you have a nut allergy, you might be able to use Sunflower flour in this recipe also! I have found it to be a one to one replacement ratio when I replace it with almond flour.
Dairy Free and Egg Free Chaffle Bread Recipe Ingredients:
Makes 2 – 4 inch bread chaffles
- 3 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tbsp veganaise
- 1/8 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup ju.st egg (an egg replacer)
Dairy Free and Egg Free Chaffle Bread Recipe Directions:
- Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and mix well until it’s fully combined.
- Preheat the mini Dash waffle maker and add half the mixture to the waffle maker.
- Cook it for about 3 minutes.
- Set on a cooling rack.
- Cook the last bit of batter to make the second piece of bread.
This recipe makes two 4 inch waffles made in a mini Dash Waffle Maker.
If you are looking for the Just Egg product, I was able to locate them at Randall’s and Sprouts in my area. You can find the Just Egg Store Locator here: https://www.ju.st/products/just-egg
In some other areas you might be able to find them in Walmart and Safeway stores. They also have a frozen product where it is pre cooked and in sheets that taste like egg.

Very grateful for this recipe. I recently had to go dairy free, and really missed Chaffles! I can eat eggs, so I did substitute an egg.
The only change I would make is to add some sweetener. I will use Stevia
