Keto Royal Icing Recipe

I just finished perfecting a Keto Royal Icing recipe that we used on a Keto Gingerbread house made of waffles! This icing is nice and thick and definitely holds together a gingerbread house.

This icing is a nice white color with a sweet taste but not overly sweet like some icings I’ve tried. It adds a really nice cream cheese flavor that balances with gingerbread nicely. I’m going to show you how to make this recipe in two different quantities. One will be a single serving and the other will be a big batch. This way you can make it for a single gingerbread waffle cookie topping or you can make a big batch for a gingerbread house like I did!

Keto Royal Icing Recipe Ingredients
Single Serving

  • 6 tablespoons Swerve Confectioners
  • 1 ounce cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream

Keto Royal Icing Recipe Instructions

  1. In a medium-size bowl, combine the swerve confectioners sweetener, cream cheese, and heavy whipping cream.
  2. Use a hand mixer to blend these ingredients on medium speed until it becomes thick. This will table about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Spread or drizzle on your favorite keto dessert. Or use a piping bag to decorate a cake.

We used the big batch recipe below. We added it to a piping bag to decorate our Keto Gingerbread house!
