Pressure Cooker Instructions:
Combine cranberries, swerve, water, orange oil and salt in a pressure cooker. Select high pressure and set the timer for 5 minutes.
Use the natural release method for about 15 minutes. Then release the rest of the pressure.
Optional: Blend with an immersion blender for a smooth consistency.
The sauce will thicken as it cools.
Stove Top Instructions:
Combine the Combine cranberries, swerve, water, orange oil and salt in a medium sized saucepan.
Cook the ingredients over medium heat for about 7 to 8 minutes.
Allow the sauce to cool for about five minutes. This sauce will thicken as it cools.
Optional: Blend with an immersion blender for a smooth consistency.
Serve this cranberry sauce warm or cold.
If you want to use Swerve sweetener in this recipe adjust the amount of sweetener to 1 1/2 cups of Swerve.
Feel free to double this recipe as it is scalable.
This cranberry sauce can be safely stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 to 14 days. It will also keep in the freezer for 1 to 2 months.
