These Okra Fritter Chaffles (aka...Keto Fried Okra) are super easy, fast, adaptable and really do taste like fried okra!!!

Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
Onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4
cup
almond flour
1
cup
okra
fresh or frozen, thawed
1/4
cup
mozzarella
shredded
Instructions
Whip together egg, mayo, heavy cream, and seasoning.
Add almond flour.
Combine well and let batter rest for 5 -10 minutes.
Stir in okra.
Add 3 tablespoons of batter to preheated waffle maker or griddle.
Put a little shredded mozzarella on the griddle before adding batter and a little on top after adding it.
Cook for 5 mins.
Flip and cook a couple more minutes until it reaches your desired crispiness.
Remove to a cooling rack and sprinkle with sea salt.
