Mix the flaxseed with water and let it sit for 5 minutes. This is going to bring moisture and a chewy consistency to our donuts.
Add cocoa powder, almond milk, baking powder, monk fruit, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
Add coconut and almond flour and stir again.
Take a donuts pan and spray it with baking spray.
Place the dough of the donut into the molds, it’s quite sticky so use a wet spoon if needed. Fill them almost to the top, leaving a small space for them to grow.
Bake them for 15 minutes. They’ll seem drier but still soft to the touch. Do not overbake them, as they continue to bake in the pan while they cool.
For the glazé just melt the chocolate with the coconut oil and coat half of the donuts with it.
Enjoy!
Notes
TipsCoat them with a salted caramel sauce made out of 1/2 peanut butter, 1 tablespoon coconut oil, and 1/3 teaspoon salt.
Add some colored sprinkles for party-themed donuts!
